The Washington park neighborhood is really becoming. I am really excited about all the new things and ideas the WPP staff is bringing to this community to help this community. The Urban Sanctuary is a perfect name for a growing community. My husband and I try to enjoy Washington Park on our lunch breaks every chance we get. Its our peace of mind.
Ethnic fabrics draped on women, babies on backs, flip flops, foreign tongues, fire on the tips of them. Aromatic herbs, china man straw hats, bitter melon vines buried in alley island gardens, strong backs. Refugee is no stranger to an urban environment. They cultivate the earth in places people already eulogized no potential left for further developments. I breathe in appreciation here. First generation. Hmong.
